When it comes to lettuce, we prefer ours grilled. But here’s an article from on of our favorite places – Savannah, Georgia – and Linda Gassenheimer offers this recipe for lettuce served with teriyaki tuna: “Saute lettuce for unusual side dish.”
As Gassenheimer notes, cooking lettuce is highly unusual in the US. We admit, that when it comes to tastebuds, it’s difficult to budge.
Of course, we love the idea of “dinner in minutes.”
