Going green

Sustainable living means taking control of your life, understanding what you need and use, setting your own priorities.

Why do we accept that one and only one company can deliver us our energy? What stops us from figuring out ways to conserve and discover new sources besides fossil fuels?

The tide is slowly turning as Sainsbury’s, a British grocery chain offers small solar-power systems to its shoppers. Green business is good business.

As this Reuters article points out, the store has one goal: the grocer’s ambition is clear: “to become the number one destination for customers looking for new energy technologies, energy efficiency measures and great energy deals.”
