Wine and tuna

The ever-helpful IntoWine.com asked experts to suggest the best wine for tuna dishes:  “Thick and meaty, tuna seems like it would be the perfect candidate for a red wine with fish pairing. Indeed, a simple preparation of grilled tuna would be ideal with Pinot Noir or another light-bodied red wine, but the problem is that so many tuna recipes include ingredients that are much better suited to light, aromatic white wines.”

The experts came up with a wide selection including pinot noir, Riesling and rose.

We’d also suggest trying a sparking red, a Lambrusco like Antica Cantina Ceci Lambrusco Amabile, Emilia 2009. Yum – a perfect pair.
