Grounds for divorce?

The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, the old saying goes. And guess it’s also the way out.

If you want a divorce , consider serving whatever  dinner your husband likes least. “Excessive servings of tuna casserole have caused marital distress in Britain, which does not have no-fault divorce,” reports Sarah Lyall for the New York Times.

Unlike the United States, Britain does not have no-fault divorce, and so spouses filing for a break-up must come up with reasons. Lyall describes one man “who declared that his wife had maliciously and repeatedly served him his least favorite dish, tuna casserole.”

Here’s a link to a popular tuna casserole dish – topped with potato chips! –  from allrecipes.com.

But as you know from reading these pages, St Jude tuna is highly versatile and hardly needs to be hidden away in a casserole!
